Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association (GYLA) is an independent non-governmental organization established in 1994. The major mission of GYLA is “Supremacy of Law for Fairness!”
The goals of the Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association are:
- Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms;
- Increase legal awareness among the public and establish respect towards the law;
- Create the legislative base, necessary for the proper operation of civil society and the rule-of-law-based state.
How can it help you
Legal aid
GYLA provides legal assistance to individuals with human rights cases in specific areas of expertise, including representation before domestic and international courts. Anyone can submit an oral or written complaint to the GYLA lawyers, which will be handled confidentially and free of charge. You can find more information on the website of the GYLA.
